Water Authority Recognized for Outstanding Engineering
The Water Authority won the “2019 Outstanding Project of the Year” award from American Society of Civil Engineers in the Parks and Recreation Category for the San Vicente Marina Facilities Project. In addition, the Pipeline 3 Relining Project received the “Public Works Greater than $15 Million” award and “2019 Honor Award” from the American Public Works Association.
The American Society of Civil Engineers awarded the San Vicente Marina Facilities project "Outstanding
Project of the Year" in the Parks and Recreation category. The project included lining the marina with rip
rap, constructing a boat ramp, new buildings, two small pump stations, and a new parking lot.
