The San Diego County Water Authority’s Board of Directors has changed its schedule through the end of 2013 to begin committee meetings at 8 a.m. and formal monthly Board meetings as early as 2 p.m. starting on Aug. 22. Both times are an hour earlier than they have been in recent years.

The changes are designed to give the 36-member Board more time to discuss agenda items. The Board’s regular meetings typically are held after a series of committee meetings on the fourth Thursday of each month. Special meetings are scheduled as needed.
