Integrated Regional Water Management Program for the San Diego Region-Proposition 84B
Funding for the IRWM grant program is provided by Proposition 84 – the Safe Drinking Water, Water Quality and Supply, Flood Control, River and Coastal Protection Act of 2006. This grant program will be administered and implemented by the Regional Water Management Group. The RWMG is comprised of the Water Authority, city of San Diego and county of San Diego. Local Water Supply Development Program
Funded by the Water Authority, this program provides a financial incentive of up to $200 per acre-foot of beneficial reuse for qualifying projects that demonstrate a financial need and replace a potable water demand upon the Water Authority. Local Resources Program
Administered by the Water Authority and funded by the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, this program underwrites local recycled water and groundwater recovery projects during the initial years of operation.
