Future Projects

The Water Authority works with its member agencies to plan for the future to support the water demands of the San Diego region by identifying necessary facilities and supplies to meet those demands.

Identifying and building these facilities is key to fulfilling the Water Authority mission of providing a safe and reliable water supply to the region.  These facilities and projects may either appear in the 2002 Regional Water Facilities Master Plan or be part of the master plan update, anticipated to be completed in 2012. As such, they are either undergoing feasibility assessments or may soon be designed.

When projects appear here, the Water Authority is likely conducting outreach for them. Please click on a project for more information.
