Water Talks: The Colorado River and its Future

Water Talks

The Colorado River has been the single largest source of San Diego County’s water supply for decades.  But the river, which provides water to 27 million people in parts of seven states, faces challenges – increasing demand across the Southwest, environmental issues, potential impacts from climate change.  Join us at our next Water Talks forum to learn more about the river, its current challenges, and what water agencies are doing to manage those issues and ensure Colorado River water will continue to reliably flow to San Diego County in the years to come.

The May 1 forum was a great success!

Stay tuned for the presentations and videos of the event.

Speakers:

Michael T. Hogan, Board Chair

Terry Fulp, Ph.D, Deputy Regional Director, Lower Colorado Region, Bureau of Reclamation

Halla Razak, P.E., Colorado River Program Manager
