Construct a 50-acre Sport Fishery Pond at Wister Management Area in Imperial County. Project includes excavation of material and disposal in the adjacent pond, supply and installation of approximately 2000 feet of 24 inch HDPE pipe to deliver water to the site, 100 feet of 36 inch HDPE, gates, cleanouts/manholes, etc.

The work generally consists of but is not limited to; 1) Refurbish the original bronze San Vicente Dam dedication plaque; 2) Fabricate the bronze San Vicente Dam Raise dedication plaque; and 3) Mount both plaques onto the San Vicente Dam Crest Control Building wall as shown on the Plans. It also includes furnishing and providing all plant, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, manufactured articles, fuel, power, water, communications, all labor, transportation, and services, including design, design submittals, quality control testing and inspection, permits, required for the fulfillment of the work in accordance with the Contract.

This project will rehabilitate 28,400 feet of PCCP from Sweetwater to Lower Otay.

The new marina and recreational facilities at the San Vicente Reservoir include an 8 restroom comfort station, a concession building, multi-use office and garage building, a potable water system including two potable water booster pump stations and a water storage tank; recreational facilities including shade structures, picnic tables, and park related amenities; boating facilities including a boat ramp, floating docks, buoys, and other boating amenities; construction of site utilities including a potable water system, sanitary sewage system, storm drainage system, electrical and lighting system, and phone, communication and security systems; site grading, paving, and striping for the marina facilities and access roads; landscape and irrigation; groundwater monitoring well, and site habitat restoration and other access and site improvements on the property.

Design Builder will prepare design documents for a new weir structure and interconnect (approx. 54 inch) between Pipeline 3 (72 inch dia) and Pipeline 4 (96 inch dia), evaluate interface with existing facilities, and procure and construct the new weir structure and interconnect in the vicinity of the Water Authoritys San Marcos Vents.

The Water Authority is seeking proposals from qualified firms for professional structural engineering services on an as-needed basis. These services include, but are not limited to, structural engineering designs for small projects, evaluations of concrete pipeline encasements, vault structures, and prestressed concrete cylinder pipe, facility condition assessment, and quality assurance reviews of contract plans and specifications in this specialty area.

The San Diego County Water Authority (Water Authority) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for professional services for approximately 22 miles of cement mortar-lined steel pipeline condition assessment on Pipeline 3 from Point of Delivery to Twin Oaks Valley Diversion Structure and on Pipeline 4 from Twin Oaks Valley Diversion Structure to Paint Mountain. All questions regarding the RFP should be presented in writing, via email to Tina Gonzalez, as soon as possible but no later than Tuesday, April 9, 2013. A pre-proposal meeting and jobsite visit will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 9:30a.m., in the Escondido Operations Center Training Room located at 610 West 5th Avenue, Escondido, CA 92025. Attendance is recommended, but not mandatory.

Provide temporary staffing services for administrative support for the San Diego County Water Authority. The Water Authority anticipates entering into contracts with approximately three qualified firms for a two-year contract term and a not-to-exceed amount of approximately $50,000 - $75,000 per contract.

Provide training to small businesses, through the Small Contractor Outreach and Opportunities Program or SCOOP, on how to do business with the San Diego County Water Authority. Design, market, facilitate, and conduct training, including classroom workshops, online and other media.
