San Diego Contracting Opportunities Center
The San Diego Contracting Opportunities Center (SDCOC), also known as Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), assists San Diego small businesses in how to do business with federal, state and local government agencies. This assistance is provided at no cost to the small business owner. The center is funded by local government agencies and the Department of Defense.
Mira Costa College: North County Small Business Development Center
Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) assist small businesses and entrepreneurs by answering business questions along with providing resources helping to start and/or expand your business. Services are provided at no cost (a small fee for some seminar and workshops may apply).
Southwestern College: South County Small Business Development and International Trade Center (SBDC and CITD)
SBDC and CITD provides a unique set of resources to assist potential and existing businesses achieve success. Staff and counselors assist businesses in realizing their goals in the global market. The San Diego Supplier Development Council (SDSDC)
The San Diego Supplier Development Council (SDSDC), formerly the San Diego Minority Supplier Development Council, seeks to create opportunities for emerging and underutilized small businesses.
U.S. Small Business Administration Pro-Net/Central Contractor Registration (CCR)
CCR was created to be the single repository of vendor data for the entire Department of Defense to avoid administrative duplication and allow contractors to take responsibility for the accuracy of their own business information by supplying it directly to the government through a single registration.
Public Agency Consortium Ad Hoc Committee (PAC)
PAC is a partnership of San Diego regional public agencies focused on increasing both the bidding opportunities and likelihood of success of small businesses on public agency contracts. The partnership includes the following public agencies: San Diego County Water Authority, Unified Port of San Diego, San Diego International Airport, Centre City Development Corporation, City of San Diego, County of San Diego, San Diego Association of Governments, San Diego Contracting Opportunities Center and the San Diego Unified School District. Members of PAC meet to plan events, collaborate on outreach and improve the reliability of outreach resources.
