Public Agency Consortium
What is the Public Agency Consortium (PAC)?
PAC is a committed partnership of San Diego regional public agencies focused
on increasing bidding opportunities and the
likelihood of success of small businesses on public agency contracts. This
partnership includes:
- City of San Diego
- San Diego City Schools
- Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC)
- San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG)
- County of San Diego
- San Diego County Water Authority
- San Diego County Regional Airport Authority
- Unified Port District of San Diego
How will PAC do this?
PAC will work together to make it easier for small firms to do business with
local public agencies through these objectives:
- Provide access for small firms to a larger pool of available business opportunities.
PAC will be "one-stop shopping" for procurement opportunities
- Consolidate agencies' training and networking activities, such as the Creating
Paths to Partnerships Networking Forum
What is the Creating Paths to Partnerships Networking Forum?
PAC will join the San Diego County Water Authority and its member agencies at
the Creating Paths to Partnerships Networking Forum, to be held on October 27,
2004, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., at the Double Tree Hotel, 7450 Hazard Center Drive,
San Diego CA.
This annual award-winning forum is an opportunity for small businesses to establish
relationships with government agencies, contractors, consultants, vendors and
suppliers in the water industry. A portion of the event's registration fees
support the Paths to Partnerships Scholarship Program, established to assist
local youth in furthering their college education.
Registration for "Paths to Partnerships" is easy and convenient.
