Tijuana River Valley Wetlands Mitigation

This project converts fallow agricultural fields to wetlands by establishing a permanent hydraulic connection to the Tijuana river. Project implementation requires the removal of existing flood control berms, the construction of new flood control berms, site grading, irrigation system installation, procurement and installation of native seed mixture and plants, and the operation and maintenance of the irrigation system and vegetation.

The San Diego County Water Authority is seeking proposals from qualified firms for professional services to develop a water conservation website. This will include but is not limited to user-friendly navigation, graphics, interactivity, and additional tools, such as search engine, database capabilities, and secure login. The WaterSmart website should be visually appealing, cost-effective, easy to use, interactive, architecturally sound, and flexible enough to support Water Authority Internet needs for five to eight years. The primary function of the WaterSmart website will be to serve as an intuitive resource that provides conservation program information to the public.
