San Diego County Garden Friendly Plant Fairs

San Diego County residents interested in making their yards and gardens more attractive and water efficient have a great opportunity to get information from gardening experts and save as much as 50 percent on select varieties of low-water-use plants at San Diego County Garden-Friendly Plant Fairs this fall at select The Home Depot locations.

Starting in February 2012, local retail water agencies hosted San Diego County Garden-Friendly Plant Fairs at different The Home Depot locations. Each plant fair features discounts on more than 20 types of shrubs and groundcovers, preselected by a panel of experts as water-efficient for the San Diego region.

Industry experts will be available at the plant fairs to provide customers with information on local water-efficient irrigation supplies and how to select and plant low-water-use plants. The Home Depot certified nursery consultants will host informative how-to workshops, and local retail water agency staff will also be available to provide customers with information on water conservation programs and services.
