MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL ENGINEERING AND OPERATIONS COMMITTEE MEETING
September 11, 2008
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Chair Ferguson called the Engineering and Operations Committee to order at 1:31 p.m. Committee members present were Directors Brammell, Hogan, Knutson, Pocklington, Smith, and Thompson. Director Morrison arrived during the Closed Session. Vice Chairs Bowersox and Johnson, Directors Barrett, Lizzul, Petty and Tu were absent. Other Board members present were Directors Arant, Linden, Dion, Croucher, Price, Dailey, Saunders, Williams K., McMillan, Bond and Steiner. At the time, there was not a quorum of the Committee. Chair Ferguson appointed Director Arant to serve as a Committee member. At this time there was a quorum of the Engineering and Operations Committee.
Staff present was General Counsel Hentschke, Deputy General Manager Belock, Deputy General Manager Lanspery, Director of Engineering Stift, Director of Operations and Maintenance Eaton, and Director of Administrative Services Young, Director of Finance Sandler, Risk Manager Homer, Special Projects Manager C. Stewart, Engineering Managers Bianes, Bousquet, Reed, E. Stewart, Construction Manager Kenny, Construction Manager Griffis, Senior Engineer Bride and Project Manager Shepard.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There were no members of the public who wished to address the Committee.
CLOSED SESSION
The Committee went into Closed Session at 1:33 p.m.

The Committee came out of Closed Session at 3:29 p.m. Mr. Hentschke stated there was no reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Engineering and Operations Committee, Chair Ferguson adjourned the meeting at 3:30 p.m.
